Qualifications:
Valid Driver’s License
Able to interact with children
Meet all Drug/Alcohol safety requirements from the Department of Transportation
Sound judgement
Good physical condition
Reports To:
Director of Transportation
Job Goal:
Provide safe and efficient transportation so students may enjoy the District's curriculum program.
Essential Functions
Operate a school van on an assigned route in transporting children to and from schools.
Maintain order among students aboard school van and report cases of misbehavior to school and staff officials.
Inspect van as per 5 minute walk around before driving.
Complete daily mileage log sheets.
Attend in-service meetings.
Keep van clean and orderly after each van run.
Other duties as assigned.
