Elementary Teacher – 3rd Grade
LOCATION:
Hazel Dell Elementary School
CONTRACT PERIOD:
180 days
REPORTS TO:
Building Principal
Requirements/Qualifications
Valid Illinois Professional Educators License, elementary endorsement
Knowledge of current curriculum, instructional trends, and school improvement process
Responsibilities
Attend district in-services and professional development opportunities to implement new strategies for curriculum and instructional improvement
Establish and implement appropriate evaluation procedures
Active participation in appropriate staff development activities
Contribute as a team member and/or leader to all school improvement initiatives
Maintain a classroom climate and management plan conducive to learning
Communicate effectively with students, parents, the public, and staff
Other duties as assigned
EFFECTIVE DATE:
First contractual day of the 2026-2027
District 186 180-day calendar
SALARY and BENEFITS:
In accordance with current SEA negotiated agreement;
Go to the 26-27 SEA Salary Schedule to view the SEA Salary Schedule
