
Driver
UR Work, Charlotte, NC, United States
As a Driver, you will deliver equipment in a safe, timely, efficient, and courteous manner. This position does not require a CDL driver's license.
Responsibilities
Drop off and pick up equipment for customers
Operate heavy construction equipment such as manual transmission semi-trucks and trailers ("rollbacks" or dovetails") consistent with DOT classification CDL-B
Maintain a driver log
Suggest additional equipment and supplies as customers may need
Operate boom trucks and cranes in accordance with manufacturer specifications
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid and clean driver’s license
Superior customer service skills
Diligent attention to safety and safe driving procedures
Basic knowledge of construction equipment
Frequent lifting of items up to 45 pounds
This position is deemed Safety Sensitive for purposes of United Rentals’ policies and procedures.
