Nail Technician
is responsible for administering manicures and pedicures with accompanying hand and foot massage as scheduled by spa concierges. Responsibilities
The Nail Technician's typical job functions include:
Providing consistent professional treatments in accordance with spa protocols and accepted certification practices
Properly caring for equipment and using proper amounts of product to assist with cost controls
Having complete knowledge and understanding of all services and products while educating and training guests in these areas
Actively promoting home care programs and meeting minimum retail sales goals
Upholding the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and the spa’s policies and procedures
Performing prep work and properly cleaning and restocking rooms as required
Communicating to management any and all occurrences involving staff or guests in the spa that require attention
Actively promoting the spa, treatments, services, sessions and retail, as well as programs, promotions and/or discounts available
Handling guests’ questions and concerns professionally and courteously
Providing accurate, appropriate and immediate responses to all requests by guests, ensuring complete guest satisfaction
Possessing the ability to work without direct supervision
Regularly attending, participating in and supporting training and staff meetings for the spa
Assisting in all areas of spa operation as requested by management
Qualifications
This position might be for you if:
You are at least 18 years old
You are available to work evenings, weekends and holidays
You possess a current Michigan license
You have previous spa, customer service, hospitality and/or therapy experience
