The department oversees Government Operations such as building construction, purchasing and contracting for goods and services, maintaining facilities, managing state vehicles, acquiring and disposing of real property, and operating auxiliary services such as courier mail delivery and the sale of state and federal surplus property. Additionally, the department manages many of the state's advocacy programs that provide assistance and services to diverse segments of the state's population that have been traditionally underserved.**Description of Work**The Department of Administration is currently seeking applicants for a Human Resource Technician ll (Working Title: Talent Acquisition Specialist) within our Human Resources Management Division. The Human Resources Management Office provides a range of services for the Department of Administration and supported agencies. The DOA HRM Division provides comprehensive support for the effective identification and recruitment of candidates for DOA positions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for timely reviewing and evaluating applicants' qualifications for permanent full-time and part-time positions.

• Provide technical advice, assistance and training to managers and supervisors on the merit-based recruitment and selection policy and process.

• Consults with division management to determine additional recruitment sources that would target labor markets and audiences through use of social media platforms, professional journals, print media, and technical colleges/universities.

• Publishes the external and internal vacancy announcements via Workday and performs as needed as backup for coordination of temporary staffing during the absence of the primary.

Salary Grade: NC07**Recruitment Range: $37,377 - $50,021****Division/ Department Overview:**DOA serves as the business manager for state government, overseeing government operations inclusive of building construction, purchasing, and contracting for goods and services, managing state vehicles, acquiring, and disposing of real property, as well as operating auxiliary services such as courier mail and sale of state and federal surplus property. Additionally, the department provides facility maintenance services and advocacy programs. Facility services include the maintenance of state-owned and leased buildings and ground keeping. The department's advocacy programs provide support, assistance, and services to diverse segments of the state's population that have been traditionally underserved.
