Job Overview
Cub Burnsville HOTC on Travelers Trail is looking for a dedicated individual to fill a part time baker position! Bakers at Cub prepare, bake and fry a variety of products and finish them with frosting, glaze or icing according to item standards to ensure quality and consistency. This position combines craftsmanship with customer service to provide customers with visually appealing and delicious baked goods!
Job Responsibilities
Prepare, bake and fry products
Finish baked or fried product (frost, glaze, icing, etc.)
Assist in wrapping or bagging product
Rotate and stock finished product to fill product gaps
Assist with customer questions or requests
Job Requirements
Equipment operation (donut sticks, hopper, fryer, screens, icing warmer, spatula, knives, etc.)
Able to walk long distances and stand for long periods of time
Memorization, reading, writing and math
The position requires on-going customer interaction, providing prompt, courteous and accurate service
Good judgment is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available
Have the ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions; write identifying information; request supplies verbally or in writing
Must be able to work shifts varying in length and time, including nights, weekends and holidays
Must be 18 years of age and older
Physical Requirements
Lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs.
Pushing/pulling up to 300 lbs.
Walking on uneven ground
Reaching, bending, repetitive motions
Schedule
Varied weekly early morning shifts
Weekends required
