The Production Worker is under the direction of the shift supervisor and will primarily be responsible for the assembly of reconditioned products using established production procedures, following safety protocol and adhering to the company’s quality standards.

The starting rate for this position is $20.55 per hour.

Responsibilities

Demonstrates ability to meet production standards on specific assignments within required time

Maintains good housekeeping and clean work areas in assigned space

Performs all assignments in accordance with safety specifications, instructions, and requirements

Responsible for safety and quality throughout production

Responsible for notifying a Production Lead or Supervisor when they step off the line to ensure safety and quality standards are maintained

Reports all production waste/issues to the Production Lead or Supervisor

Performs other duties as required by Supervisor or Manager

Follows all company policies and procedures

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent

Experience working in a Manufacturing Environment

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Understand plant safety guidelines and pass all required safety training

Must be able to understand verbal and written instructions

Troubleshoot problems and report issues

Must work well in a team environment

Physical Requirements

Use of hands and fingers to perform job function

Ability to stoop, kneel, bend and climb minimal, only as needed.

Ability to lift up to 42lbs

Plant facility runs 5 days, a week consistently scheduled 6:30am to 5pm Monday to Friday, excluding designated holidays or prearranged shut down.

Line production is constant flow.

Ability to be on feet consistently 8 hours up to a 10 hours per scheduled shift.

Walking during this standing time in work cell, continuous rotation based on area assigned.

Repetitive turning & twisting during production based on area assigned.

Reaching above shoulders, hand and wrist repetitive simple grasping to pick up drum, flip drum for stacking and unloading as needed when assigned this area.

Use of hands and fingers to perform job function with hand tools as needed up to full scheduled shift.

The work environment is inside, however not temperature controlled. Exposed to both heat and cold depending on the daily weather conditions outside, and station working at.

The ability to wear all required personal protective equipment for the position they are assigned to each day. This equipment can include some or all: hard hat, ear plugs, safety glasses, face shield, steel toed boots, cut resistant gloves, cut resistant sleeves, apron, and/or Tyvek hazmat suit.
