AV Installation Technician – Boston, MA (Higher Education Projects)
TEKsystems is placing AV Installation Technicians in support of a series of higher education AV projects across the Boston area, including work at Boston College, Harvard, and Northeastern University campuses. This is hands‑on installation work — no service calls, no programming. If you take pride in clean, professional workmanship and want to spend the summer doing meaningful AV builds on some of Boston's most recognized campuses, this is worth a look.

Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Start:

Pay:
$25–$30/hr (W2, TEKsystems contract)
What You’ll Be Doing
Installing AV systems in higher education environments
Pulling, dressing, labeling, and terminating low‑voltage cabling
Mounting and installing displays, speakers, and AV hardware
Supporting room builds and light decommissioning work
Working under project management and field leadership on site
What We’re Looking For
Hands‑on AV installation experience (low‑voltage cabling, displays, AV hardware)
A strong work ethic and consistent reliability — showing up and following through matters here
Clean, professional workmanship — quality is the priority, not speed
A coachable attitude and professional demeanor on client sites

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cambridge, MA.
