Job Description

The Director Marketing (Health Plans & Government Programs) is responsible for leading a team that develops, plans, implements and evaluates sales and/or business development marketing strategies, as well as defines audience‑appropriate tactics and distribution channels for Prime’s clients and/or members. This role provides an integrated and strategic approach to marketing and communications planning, understanding the company’s business objectives and translating them into effective and compelling communications.
Responsibilities

Monitor relevant market conditions and trends to drive effective messaging and tactics to targeted audiences.
Lead the planning, implementation and evaluation of strategic sales, product or consumer communication campaigns and materials, including creative design.
Provide thoughtful team direction and elevate team performance toward reaching business and client goals; clearly communicate roles and expectations.
Provide writing/editorial expertise in support of driving key messaging and marketing objectives.
Oversee the prioritization of strategic and department level initiatives and projects.
Lead a team of marketers to develop and support materials, communications and the cross‑functional Request for Proposal (RFP) process.
Manage staffing, performance and development, and consistently demonstrate Prime’s leadership expectations during interactions with direct reports, cross‑functional and external stakeholders.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience; HS diploma or GED is required.
8 years of work experience in marketing, with a focus on product marketing or new business development.
5 years of leadership/people management experience.
Must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for work visa or residency sponsorship.
Additional Qualifications

Ability to express ideas clearly both verbally and in writing, paired with strong listening skills.
Proven track record of leadership capabilities including building morale, developing people and creating positive team dynamics.
Ability to manage multiple, complex projects simultaneously through ongoing change, without compromising quality.
Brand development and positioning experience.
Preferred Qualifications

Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM), health care or Finance experience.
Sales and account management experience.
Compensation

Potential pay ranges from $124,000.00 – $211,000.00 based on experience and skills.
