Responsibilities
The Orkin Service Pro commits to safely and professionally providing the highest level of protection and service on a designated route. Responsibilities include route operations, scheduling, issue diagnosis, and treatment planning. With each customer, you will understand problems and do the right thing to resolve them.

Complete award‑winning training to serve customers.

Prioritize safety in all responsibilities.

Follow route and daily operation schedules within an assigned territory, arriving on time.

Operate a company vehicle safely and keep it clean.

Conduct yourself with professionalism and integrity with customers and coworkers.

Problem solve for each customer with empathy, listening to their needs and recommending efficient and innovative solutions.

Meet with customers to explain actions taken, ensure satisfaction, and discuss additional services for peace of mind.

Inspect interior and exterior of the customer’s property.

Communicate with customers to explain actions taken and discuss additional services.

Complete all required service‑related documentation using the handheld device.

Qualifications

No pest control experience required; we will train you.

Experience in a service or skilled trades role is a plus.

Strong communication skills (verbal and written) required.

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Valid driver’s license required.

Ability to obtain appropriate pesticide license within the first 90 days of employment (company paid).

Ability to work independently in the field, manage route‑based assignments, and interact with customers inside businesses and/or homes.

Work Environment
Candidates must meet physical job requirements and perform duties safely with or without accommodations. Physical requirements include:

Safely use a ladder within manufacturer’s weight capacity.

Occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, roof tops, etc., including ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

Wear personal protective equipment, sometimes requiring OSHA‑compliant respirator.

Willing to work in various weather conditions.
