Pre‑K Teacher Overview
Chesterbrook Academy is seeking an enthusiastic Pre‑K Teacher to join our growing preschool community. Your goal will be to inspire curiosity, independence, and a lifelong love of learning in every child.
Responsibilities
Create an engaging classroom where children can explore, question, and discover.
Design hands‑on lessons that prepare students for kindergarten and beyond.
Foster strong relationships with families through communication and collaboration.
Support each child’s social, emotional, and academic growth.
Perform the essential duties required to maintain a safe and nurturing learning environment, including frequent walking, standing, sitting, squatting, stooping, reaching, kneeling, rising from the floor, twisting, listening, reading, writing, speaking and using clear vision.
Carry, lift, use repetitive or fine hand movements, and occasionally push, pull, or bend as necessary for classroom tasks.
Requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age and meet state licensing requirements.
CDA or degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
Prior experience in a licensed childcare center.
A passion for early childhood education and helping children learn and grow.
Ability to work collaboratively with a team and build a positive classroom environment.
Authorization to work in the United States.
