Location: Blue Springs, Missouri, 550 NE Napoleon Dr, Blue Springs, Missouri 64014.
Weekly shift: Tuesday – Saturday 11:30 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.
Starting wage: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour.
Responsibilities
Prepare all menu items according to established standards and recipes, providing exceptional quality food that is attractively presented in a timely fashion.
Ensure health protocols are always followed, including proper hygiene, sanitary food preparation, and proper food temperatures.
Familiarize yourself with the residents and their preferences and needs, and participate in resident orientations.
Qualifications
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Must be able to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
Must possess a current Food Handlers Card as required by the Department of Health.
Demonstrate skills, knowledge, and competency in leadership, training, and supervision.
Proficient written and oral communication skills with management, professionals, and support staff.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop all day; to lift or move items up to 50 pounds.
Comfortable with close contact to extreme temperatures, including cooking surfaces and walk-in freezers.
Ability to work primarily indoors, and be available to work outdoors for events.
Must be criminally cleared.
