Personal Qualifications
Committed to a consistent daily walk with Jesus Christ.
Demonstrates the Fruits of the Spirit in daily walk with Jesus Christ.
Follows Matthew 18 principle when dealing with students, faculty, parents and administration.
Serves as a Christian role model in conduct, cleanliness and modesty, in agreement with the OCS Staff Handbook.
Professional Qualifications
Holds a bachelor’s degree in education from an accredited college or university.
Possesses a current State of Iowa teaching license or is in the process of recertifying/obtaining it (Preferred, but not required).
Willingness to continue progress in career development.
Knowledge of computer technology or willingness to learn.
Responsibilities
Provide classroom instruction using the curriculum given and approved by the OCS Board.
Integrate Biblical principles and perspectives throughout all curricula from a Biblical worldview.
Minister in the field of education by discipleship and communication of faith to the next generation.
Use Chromebooks, School Information System, Interactive Display Boards, and Gmail.
Maintain clear and professional communication with students, parents, faculty, and administration.
Follow all guidelines and procedures set in the OCS Staff Handbook.
