Sentara Leigh Hospital is hiring a Full-time Food Service Worker (Floor Stocker) for the Food Services Department.
Full-time, rotating 8‑hour shifts, both day and evening shifts.
Food Service Workers
Food Service Workers are essential members of the food services team who offer support to the team and contribute in multiple ways, such as delivering nutritious meals and providing excellent customer service to patients, staff, and visitors.
Responsibilities
This position entails various responsibilities, including but not limited to preparing and assembling food according to dietary guidelines, safety and customer preferences; maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas; washing dishes; working as a cashier; meeting utility needs; and ensuring food safety standards are upheld.
Food Handlers Card is required in the city of Norfolk.
Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent (Preferred)
Certification / Licensure
Food Handlers Card – Certification as required by the local Health Department (Required)
Experience
Stocking experience (Preferred)
Food service experience (Preferred)
Customer Service experience (Preferred)
