Job Overview
Driver’s Helper responsible for assisting the driver in day‑to‑day activities, including loading and unloading trucks and other duties as needed.
Essential Functions
Accurately load the daily route onto the truck.
Scan the daily route onto the truck.
Assist the driver with navigating to deliveries.
Assist the driver with carrying freight to business or residential destinations.
Utilize manifest to pull route, stage freight, and assist the driver to load and unload trucks.
Handle material tasks such as picking, packing, scanning, kitting, counting products, and other similar duties.
Ensure timeliness, packaging, and system work is completed accurately.
Identify and annotate overages, shortages, and damages (OS&D).
Safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklift, pallet jacks, etc.
Read and follow detailed instructions in a fast‑paced environment.
Maintain a safe and secure work environment following TSA and OSHA guidelines.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills and Competencies
Ability to read a map and general geographic knowledge.
Ability to lift 75 lbs unassisted.
Good customer service skills.
Willingness to work overtime as needed.
Strong reading and comprehension of work instructions.
Team‑work ability with minimal supervision.
High attention to detail.
Proficiency in English (speak, read, write).
Ability to lift 50+ lbs unassisted.
Physical Requirements
This position requires standing and walking for extended periods, stooping, kneeling, crouching, using hands, reaching, bending, lifting objects above the head, and using pallet jacks and forklifts. Employees must regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds and use a PC for shipping documents.
Work Environment & Additional Requirements
Employees may perform other duties as assigned, including working in other areas to cover absences or balance workload.

Pay Range
$19 to $20.00 per hour. The above is the anticipated starting salary range; final salary will be determined in accordance with all applicable laws.
Shift
Monday‑Friday, 6:00 am – 3:00 pm.
