experienced former Solar Installers
who are ready to take their technical skillset and apply it to
historic preservation and specialty roofing/trades work .
If you’ve worked in solar installation, you already have many of the core skills we value:
Comfortable working at heights
Strong mechanical aptitude
Precision, safety, and problem-solving
Experience with roof systems, climbing equipment, heavy lifting, and hand/power tools
Now take that knowledge and grow into a
high-demand, highly skilled historic trades career

What You’ll Do
Assist with slate, tile, and copper roofing restoration.
Support installation and repair on historic structures.
Work hands-on with high-end materials.
Travel across the Midwest for project work.
Contribute to award-winning preservation projects.
Requirements
Previous experience in solar installation.
Strong work ethic and comfort working outdoors.
Ability to learn specialty roofing and historic preservation techniques.
Willingness to travel for project-based work.
Commitment to safety and craftsmanship.
What We Offer
Competitive pay:
$25.00–$50.00/hr
based on experience.
Group Health, Dental & Vision Insurance (eligibility after 90 days).
