You’ll be completing multi‑drop deliveries to domestic addresses, some of which may have limited or awkward access. The role also involves manual handling, so a good level of physical fitness is essential, along with a professional approach when dealing with customers.
Duties will include:
Driving a
7.5‑tonne
vehicle on scheduled delivery routes
Manual handling of goods during deliveries
Loading and unloading the vehicle safely and efficiently
Representing the client and Driver Hire Darlington in a professional manner
To be considered, you must have:
A valid UK driving licence with C1 (7.5t) entitlement
Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
Confidence driving in residential and restricted-access areas
A reliable, punctual, and customer‑focused attitude
