Summary
Under general supervision, work on the production line to build manufactured housing, as part of a team, and perform quality work at a fast moving and consistent manner.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
OR
at least six months of related experience/training; Ability to read a tape measure; Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift/move up to 50lbs; Previous experience in manufacturing/modular housing is desired.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Performs all manual labor in the area to which assigned
Keeps area neat and clean
Reads and use a tape measure
Reads blueprints and orders
Communicates well with coworkers
Uses hand tools, air tools, and electrical tools
Must have a strong work ethic - consistently arrive on time and per scheduled shift - EVERY DAY
Must have the ability to work quickly and methodically
Must understand safety procedures
Must have good teamwork skills
Must live the Champion Operating Principles
Work Schedule
The typical schedule for this position is 6:00 am - 2:30 pm, Monday-Friday.
Schedule may vary depending on production needs and overtime, though kept to a minimum, occasional scheduling changes may be required.
