JR168116**Cooper River Post Acute** is a magnificent 176 bed skilled nursing facility located in the heart of **Mount Pleasant, SC.**** NOW HIRING: LEAD COOK ****Lead Cook** to anchor our kitchen team and keep service running smooth, fast, and flawless.

As the Lead Cook, you’re more than a grill master — you’re the connection between leadership and execution. You’ll guide the team, maintain standards, and help create an unforgettable guest experience every shift.

**What You’ll Do** **Lead the Line**

Oversee daily kitchen operations and service, making sure every station is stocked, prepped, and ready for peak hours.

**Quality Control**

Taste, garnish, and inspect dishes before they leave the window to ensure consistency and excellence every time.

**Team Mentorship**

Train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques, safety procedures, and menu specs. Help others level up.

**Inventory & Prep**

Manage prep lists, monitor stock levels, and assist with ordering to reduce waste and keep things efficient.

**Safety First**

Maintain a spotless workspace and ensure the entire team follows health and safety standards.

**What You Bring** **Experience**

Proven success in a high-volume professional kitchen (3+ years preferred).

**Leadership**

Cool under pressure with the ability to motivate and direct a team during the rush.

**Technical Skill**

Advanced knife skills and strong knowledge of sautéing, roasting, grilling, and more.

**Stamina**

Able to stand for long shifts and lift up to 50 lbs.

**Certification**

Valid food handler’s permit or ServSafe certification preferred.
