Location
The Houseperson role is based at the Westlake - 40 - Rooms location, where you will be working as part of the team to ensure the smooth operation of the hotel.
About the Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Houseperson at The Ricardo Marriott, where you will play a key role in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and service that our guests expect from us.
What You'll Do
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of all areas of the hotel, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces
Ensure that all linen and uniform supplies are stocked and distributed as needed
Assist the housekeeping team with cleaning and preparing guest rooms for arrival
Provide support to the front desk team with tasks such as delivering guest requests and resolving any issues that may arise
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and a positive guest experience
Skills and Experience
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Physical ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects and stand for long periods of time
Previous experience in a hospitality or housekeeping role is an asset
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures and protocols
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
