Security Officer Patrol Inspector
in
Boston, MA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government transportation location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will bring a caring, reliable approach, work as part of a team, and act with integrity while supporting daily operations in a dynamic public‑facing environment.

What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public by carrying out site‑specific procedures, following post orders, and responding to routine questions and concerns in a professional manner.
Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and communicate with supervisors, public personnel, and/or emergency responders as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report security‑related concerns, hazards, and/or unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points, observe pedestrian and vehicle traffic, and follow location protocols for entry, visitor processing, and/or restricted area access.
Prepare clear, timely reports of incidents, patrol activity, and/or notable observations, and support Allied Universal team members with assigned security‑related duties at the location.
Minimum Requirements:
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
