274365Las Vegas, Nevada**The SHOW comes alive at MGM Resorts International****THE JOB:**The **Lounge Server at Luxor** delivers exceptional, personalized service in an upscale lounge environment. This role is responsible for taking and serving beverage orders with precision and efficiency while creating a welcoming, high-energy atmosphere that enhances the overall guest experience.**THE STARTING RATE:** $14.4497 Hourly + Tips
**THE DAY-TO-DAY:*** Complete opening side duties fold/stack cocktail napkins, stock swizzle sticks, straws, matches, line cocktail trays, stock glassware, restock supply cabinet, inspect cleanliness and condition of assigned station and service areas; rectify any deficiencies* Knowledge of liquor brands, beers and non-alcoholic selections available on the casino floor* Knowledge of designated glassware and garnishes for each drink* Communicate order into system through Bartender; ensure transmission is verified* Knowledge of Hotel services and features as well as local attractions and activities to respond to guest inquiries* Resolve guest complaints within scope of authority; otherwise refers the matter to management; notify supervisor and/or Security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft* Successful completion of Restaurant Training Program and testing is required**THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:*** 21+ years of age* 6+ Months of prior relevant experience as a Cocktail and/or food server in a similar environment preferred* Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays required* Cash-handling experience preferred**THE PERKS & BENEFITS:*** Wellness incentive programs to help you stay healthy physically and mentally* Access to company hotel, food and beverage, retail, and entertainment discounts as well as discounts with company partners on things like travel, electronics, online shopping, and more!* Free meals in our employee dining room* Free parking on and off shift* Health & Income Protection benefits (for eligible employees)* Professional and personal development through programs and networking opportunities as well as volunteer opportunities in the community**VIEW JOB DESCRIPTION:**Are you ready to **JOIN THE SHOW**At MGM Resorts, we exist to entertain the human race and provide an unforgettable escape.
