Associate Responsibilities
Play a supporting role in the classroom under the direction of trained Montessori teachers and work amongst a team of teachers
Maintain a safe, clean, and tidy classroom environment in accordance with Montessori philosophy
Provide basic care and active supervision of young children as needed
Engage in positive redirection to children and maintain a positive learning environment
Communicate with parents as needed on routine matters regarding the health, and care of students
Associate Requirements
Minimum Required: CDA or Associate’s Degree, or some college coursework
At least 18 years of age
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Human Development)
