## Description* **Transporting goods**: Safely and efficiently transporting goods between locations using heavy trucks and tractor trailers* **Adhering to regulations**: Following traffic and safety regulations, and ensuring they make deliveries on time* **Performing vehicle maintenance**: Being responsible for basic vehicle maintenance* **Completing paperwork**: Completing and verifying paperwork for accuracy* **Inspecting vehicles**: Performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle* **Maintaining records**: Maintaining accurate records of deliveries and pickups## Qualifications**For Non-DOT Driver:*** High school diploma or equivalent.* Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.* Minimum of 1 year of experience in a driving or delivery role, preferably in waste management or a related field.* Ability to operate company vehicles safely while adhering to all safety protocols.* Strong time-management skills and ability to follow delivery schedules.* Excellent communication and customer service skills.* Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds and working in various weather conditions.* Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety checks is a plus.* Reliability and punctuality to ensure consistent service delivery.
