Role Overview
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for an experienced Generative AI Strategist to partner with customers to enhance their business or operational outcomes through the use of advanced and emerging technologies such as analytics/big data, machine learning, and generative artificial intelligence.

Key Responsibilities

Bring alignment between customer technologists and business leads and develop a roadmap to deliver business value.

Discuss complex industry‑specific business concepts with executives, line managers, and technologists.

Engage with AWS teams—including applied scientists, solutions architects, business development, marketing, industry specialists, partners and regional organizations—to craft industry‑specific programs.

Drive large, complex sales opportunities from ideation, through vision building and scoping, all the way to closure and into delivery.

Conduct workshop sessions to identify opportunities with customers to scope how they could deliver business value through generative AI or machine learning.

Travel to client locations to deliver professional services as needed.

About the Team
The Generative AI Innovation Center guides customers to identify and prioritize new use cases based on business value and implements innovative solutions. It provides custom demos, proofs‑of‑concept, and transitions work to ProServe teams or partners when customers are ready to deploy solutions.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree, or 7+ years of work experience.

5+ years of experience managing scientists or machine learning engineers.

Experience working in or supporting sales.

Experience in management consulting, strategy, technology, venture capital, or a related industry.

Experience launching technically complex programs in big data, analytics, AI, and machine learning.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience producing executive‑level written materials and presenting to executive audiences.

Experience effectively communicating complex concepts through written and verbal communication.

Experience presenting to both technical and non‑technical executive audiences.

3+ years of IT and/or management consulting services, or 5+ years of management experience.

Advanced degree or MBA.
