TRIGO Global Quality Solutions has a current opening for a Logistics Manager to join our Heavy Transportation team in Mossville, IL. The expected salary range for this exempt-level role is $75,000.00-$85,000.00 per year.
Overall Purpose
The Logistics Manager is responsible for overseeing the coordination and execution of logistics activities that support operational and customer requirements. This role leads daily warehouse operations and the frontline team to ensure materials and equipment move through the facility safely and on time. You'll be responsible for keeping the floor running efficiently while meeting all safety and company standards.

Direct : Area Manager Indirect : Director of Operations/ General Manager
Responsibilities
Oversee daily logistics operations, including shipping, receiving, transportation, and inventory movement while
Lead and develop the warehouse team by setting daily priorities, managing schedules, and providing the coaching necessary to meet changing operational demands
Develop and maintain efficient logistics workflows to support operational needs.
Monitor logistics performance metrics and implement improvements to increase efficiency and reduce delays.
Manage relationships with third-party carriers and logistics vendors.
Ensure accurate inventory counts through cycle counts and audits.
Address discrepancies, shortages, and damaged materials in a timely manner.
Support project-based logistics planning when applicable.
Communicate shipment status, delays, or issues to stakeholders.

3–7 years of experience in logistics, transportation, warehouse operations, or supply chain management.
1–3 years of leadership or supervisory experience, including managing small teams or coordinating daily operations.
Experience coordinating shipping, receiving, and transportation activities.
Demonstrated experience managing multiple priorities and tight delivery timelines.
Experience working with logistics software, ERP systems, or transportation management systems (TMS).
Education Background
Overall Recommendations
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
Equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Professional certifications such as Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or Certified in Logistics, Transportation and Distribution (CLTD) are a plus but not required
