Qualifications

University degree in Finance or related field

English required

Hotel background is a necessity

Minimum of two-year experience

Computer skills, Word, E-mail, strong excel skills

Experience with accounting software such as Quick Books would be beneficial

Responsibilities

Review all Purchase Requests from all departments daily. Notes discrepancies in quantity and brand orders.

If Purchase Request in not in order, check with originating department and resolve the question in time so as not to delay order that could affect delivery of product to the guests.

Invite quotations from suppliers related

Compare quotations from all respondents and recommend the supplier that suits the resort

Initialize Purchase Order indicating all the details of the order

Prepare reports that inform all the end users of the status of the purchase orders

Follow up orders and arrange the safe delivery of the items in the hotel

Inform the receiving staff or storekeeper of the expected deliveries

Conduct market surveys

Ensure that all host of the department are properly trained and are kept informed of all resort developments

Attend to other duties that may be assigned by the Senior Accountant and the Assistant Financial Controller from time to time
