Overview
Lutron is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Project Specialist to join our team in Austin, TX. In this role, you will be a key part of the Configured Business Operations team and grow your skills while applying industry best practices to our Supply Chain function.
Responsibilities
Integrate the supply base resources with strategic purchasing, supplier quality, engineering and manufacturing to support our growing business.
Manage initialization of Plan for Every Part in Lutron's enterprise system.
Handle tactical purchasing.
Lead the supply chain design review process.
Conduct data analytics.
Lead product supply chain design process to drive improvement on quality, delivery, cost, risk, and flexibility for long‑term success.
Serve as supply chain project leader to ensure the material pipeline aligns with business needs.
Manage material cutover to optimize raw material inventory and pipeline risk.
Create and implement plans for every part (PFEP) on all new material and continually improve the PFEP standard work, tools, and methodology with existing product supply chain management team.
Collaborate closely with procurement and supplier quality management team to develop supply chain competencies for future business.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Industrial Engineering, Operations Engineering or related field.
Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00 for all degrees earned.
5+ years of experience in supply chain management in a manufacturing environment.
Proven analytical skills with proficiency in purchasing and manufacturing process.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
Willingness to innovate, adopt & implement new technologies & methods to improve the process.
Willingness to challenge existing processes & drive change.
