Qualifications
High School Diploma
Completed at least 2 years of study (48 semester hours) at an institution of higher education; or
Obtained an associate's (or higher) degree; or Passed the ACT WorkKeys-Reading for Information, Applied Mathematics and Writing Subtests
Interpersonal skills in working with students, professional colleagues, administration, parents, and community
Strong written and oral communication skills: grammar, spelling, punctuation
Good physical condition with ability to lift 50 pounds
Job Description
Assist the teacher in maintaining appropriate classroom activities and enhancing student learning. Change diapers for children who are incontinent, along with helping with toileting as needed.
Salary
Commensurate with the Ocean Springs salary schedule for classified positions for the 2026-2027 school year.
