K-12 Instructional Coach - Transfer Anticipated

Qualifications:
Valid Alabama teacher’s certificate at the Master’s level or above. Minimum of five years successful teaching experience. Excellent communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills. Deep knowledge of and experience in curriculum and instruction. Ability to deliver quality professional development of teachers. Previous coaching or teacher leadership experience. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Education may find appropriate and acceptable.
Reports to:
Assistant Superintendent of Instruction, Elementary, Middle and High School Coordinators
Job Goal:
To help ensure that teachers have knowledge of and materials and methods needed to teach the Shelby County Courses of study in order that each student may achieve the greatest academic level possible.
