Teacher - Kindergarten STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Math) Specialist (Long-Term Substitute)

Monticello Schools is seeking a licensed substitute teacher to provide daily coverage for a Kindergarten STEAM Specialist classroom. The position is eight hours per day Monday – Friday for student contact days.
Licensure
Current K-6 elementary teaching license for the State of Minnesota.
Essential Skills Required
Works well with a flexible schedule and reliable attendance record.
Establishes a culture for learning by supporting the mission, beliefs, and the strategic plan of the district.
Inspires and engages all students in relevant learning.
Maintain confidentiality of information about students, staff, and families.
Experience working with diverse students and families.
Centrally located on Interstate 94 less than 25 miles northwest of Maple Grove and 30 miles southeast of Saint Cloud, Monticello is home to five brick-and-mortar schools and two nature-based facilities serving more than 4,000 students annually. Monticello consistently ranks in the top 50 school districts in the state as measured by a number of organizations and metrics, and performs above the state average in graduation rates, test scores, and early college opportunities.
