The Receptionist Lead is responsible for the front desk operations of a healthcare facility. The Receptionist Lead ensures a smooth and welcoming experience for patients and supports the medical team with multiple administrative tasks. You will report onsite to the Center Administrator at the Wildflower Clinic.

Responsibilities

Schedule Appointments: Manage appointment calendars, schedule patient visits, and coordinate with medical staff to improve schedules.

Patient Records: Maintain patient records, ensuring accuracy. Work in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.

Billing and Payments: Ensure patient accounts are updated correctly. May include collecting copay at time of visit.

Inquiries and Communication: Answer incoming calls, respond to patient inquiries, and provide general information.

Office Management: Ensure the reception area is tidy, sanitized, and well-stocked with necessary materials.

Administrative Support: Assist with multiple administrative tasks. This may involve monitoring performance metrics, conducting team huddles, and taking on center administration tasks in the absence of the Center Administrator.

Team Lead: Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the receptionist team, offering training and guidance. This role may also involve traveling to support multiple centers.

Problem Resolution: Address and resolve any issues, escalations, or complaints from patients or staff.

Required Qualifications

You will have a High School Diploma or GED

You will have 1+ years of medical reception experience

You will have Value-based care model experience

You will have knowledge of Medical Terminology

You will have experience with EMR Systems (Electronic Medical Records)

You will be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on improving patient experiences and care

You will have Excellent customer service.

You will be a team player

Ideal Candidate

Experience in leading a team/department

Bilingual in English and Spanish

Additional Information
You will be patient facing and run the Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, we will require you to screen for TB.

Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

$39,000 - $49,400 per year
