Responsibilities
Lead the church in spiritual growth and service to members and community.
Communicate teaching of God’s Word clearly to the congregation.
Encourage salvation and study of God’s Word.
Serve in multiple capacities, including ministry outside the church.
Support youth activities inside and outside the church.
Qualifications
Meet biblical qualifications for a pastor as stated in 1 Timothy 3:1‑7.
Believe in baptism by immersion only, after personal salvation.
Graduate or seminary degree preferred.
Support the Baptist Faith and Message 2000.
Be easily approachable and able to communicate with members and visitors of all ages.
