Youth Multi Sport Enrichment Coach

The Company:
Amazing Athletes was created to provide the best programming and service in the market for youth sports, starting with their first sports experience. Children need to have FUN while learning the FUNdamentals of sport. Our goal is to provide an experience where every child is an athlete. The long-term impact will create healthy habits at a young age, teach life skills and increase youth activity across the board.

The Position:
We are seeking coaches for our multi-sport enrichment program. Amazing Athletes was founded in 2003 and has grown into one of the nation’s largest multi sport enrichment programs with over 50,000 kids enrolled each year. New Coaches can work 3-15 hrs a week, earn between $20 and $25/hr to start. Our programs come with ready‑made curriculum and extensive training to help you get up to speed quickly and enjoy working with the kids!

Our Coaches use positive reinforcement to encourage children to do better and celebrate success

And finally, our coaches have a blast. They are open‑minded and know that coaching is a continuous journey. All Coaches are open to feedback and strive to be better by attending seasonal trainings and follow the Amazing Athletes Coaching Manual & Curriculum

Locations include preschools and daycares in North East Baltimore County and Harford County. You must be able to commute reliably to locations and be on time.

Experience working with students or children in sports or daycare and preschool settings

Some knowledge of various sports such as basketball, baseball, and martial arts

Background in teaching physical education, working with young children or coaching youth sports programs

Knowledge of milestones of motor development in children ages 2-6

Skills in behavior management to foster discipline and positive conduct among young participants

Strong communication skills to effectively instruct children and collaborate with team members

Ability to create and follow lesson plans that promotes physical activity and skill acquisition

Patience, enthusiasm, and the ability to motivate children of different ages and skill levels

Ability to work independently

At least 18 years old

Reliable transportation to commute to coaching locations
