Job Responsibilities

Provide IT administrative and tier‑1 technical support to users, including desk phone, mobile devices, NMCI equipment and peripherals, and multi‑function devices/printers.

Serve as a liaison between Headquarters staff and the Next Generation Enterprise Network (NGEN) management team, performing Command Technical Representative (CTR) functions.

Validate NMCI (NGEN) equipment inventories, services, and ad‑hoc requirements in coordination with Staff ISSOs.

Process MAC requests, CLINs, and Task Order Modifications to meet staff requirements.

Coordinate Staff NMCI (NGEN) equipment refreshes, including delivery, workstation upgrades, problem resolution, pickup, and database updates to NET.

Facilitate emergent NMCI (NGEN) network/system upgrades with Team Leads and ISSOs to minimize operational impact.

Maintain the Staff VIP listing and update the VIP database with NMCI (NGEN) personnel; report status monthly to the IT Services Support Supervisor.

Collaborate with the NMCI (NGEN) Help Desk, Field Delivery Services, and other support organizations to resolve staff issues in a timely manner.

Process orders, update information, and obtain engineering services through the USFF NGEN Force IT Management Team.

Conduct software testing for NMCI (NGEN) network implementation.

Participate in scheduled or periodic NMCI (NGEN) training sessions and coordination meetings; provide reporting to IT Services.

Support the Supervisor regarding potential impacts to staff.

Maintain accurate inventory of all IT equipment and accessories.

Manage and issue mobile devices.

Process and manage IT service requests.

Provide CPR support as required.

Interface with government and/or commercial telephone service providers to supply office phone service to staff, including setup, maintenance, and repair of phones.

Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.

Minimum 2 years of experience in an NMCI (NGEN) environment, including expertise with NMCI (NGEN) NET, CLINs, and services.

Minimum 2 years of experience providing Tier‑1 or higher customer support.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.

Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.

Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to be a self‑motivated member of an IT Support Services team.

Active Secret clearance.

CompTIA Security+ certification.
