Position Description
Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Buffalo, NY. The role offers weekly pay ranging from $1,300 to $1,800, paid training, a Monday‑Saturday schedule, and opportunities to drive local for home‑daily routes.

Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with applicable laws, eliminating safety hazards, maintaining accurate records and logs, loading/unloading freight, and performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Minimum 21 years of age

Pass a Ryder drug test, background and motor vehicle check, DOT physical, and road test

Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position

Class A experience: 9 months within the past 3 years OR 2 years within the last 5 years OR 5 years within the last 10 years

Ability to follow written and oral instructions

Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures

Route: Local Home Daily

Tractor type: Day Cab

Trailer type: Flatbed 28’, 36', 48'

Equipment: Mounted forklift

Ryder will train you on all required equipment

Freight: Load securement only – retail goods
