Responsibilities
The role of the Lead Imaging Technologist is to assist the Imaging Director in the daily operation of the Imaging Services Department
In addition, the Lead Imaging Technologist must perform routine nuclear medicine studies and CT imaging as needed
Serves as PACS Administrator for the Imaging Services Department; corrects patient information as needed, assists physicians with usage of the PACS system, adds and deletes new user
Serves as liaison between the facility Novarad with issues with the PACS system
Performs Nuclear Medicine studies as needed; handles radioactive material according to the license, and Federal, State and local regulations
Performs CT studies as needed; ensures patients are seen in a timely fashion
Assists with training of new employees included but not limited to: x-ray, PACS, CT. Assists Director with the orientation of new employees

Qualifications
Applicants should have completed an accredited two‑year program in Radiologic Technology
Current nuclear medicine licensure
CT registration required
Valid state radiation license
Minimum of 5 years in a technologist role and 1‑2 years in a supervisory role are preferred
