Job Description
2026-2027 School Year. Multiple positions available. Specific grade level and building assignment ranging from Kindergarten through Grade 5 to be determined later. Placement may be at Cambridge Primary School, Isanti Primary School, Cambridge Intermediate School, or Isanti Intermediate School.
Qualifications / Experience
Current Minnesota Special Ed license in EBD.
Successful background check required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Thorough knowledge of principles and methodology of effective teaching.
Ability to establish and maintain standards of behavior.
Ability to deliver articulate oral presentations and written reports.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, students, and parents.
Calm demeanor and passion for working with children.
Strong communication skills with school staff and parents.
Demonstrates compassion, respect, responsibility, self‑discipline, and honesty.
Specific Tasks
Provide special education services to students.
Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and support staff to teach students strategies for managing behaviors.
Create and deliver individualized and group instruction.
Develop, translate, and integrate lesson plans; strive to provide an ideal, positive learning environment.
Establish positive relationships with students.
Hours Per Day
7.5 hours/day, as per contract.
