Bus/Van Transportation Driver
Job Summary
Mount Joseph at Waterville is seeking a reliable and compassionate Bus/Van Transportation Driver to transport residents to and from appointments and activities. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional care and support, ensuring a safe and comfortable experience for all riders. This is a part-time opportunity in the transportation department. You will also assist with the housekeeping department on a part-time basis.
Responsibilities
Transport residents to and from scheduled appointments and activities, including medical appointments, therapy sessions, and social events
Safely operate a bus/van, with focus on resident care and comfort
Assist residents with mobility issues, including pushing/pulling wheelchairs and operating vehicle lifts
Maintain a clean and organized bus/van, adhering to all safety and regulatory standards
Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff to ensure seamless transportation services
Cover for vacations and other absences as needed, including Saturdays
Requirements
A clean driving record
Ability to push/pull residents in their wheelchairs
Knowledge of vehicle lifts and ability to operate them safely and effectively
High school diploma or equivalent (n/a)
