Summary
Reports to Nurse Manager of a designated procedural department and is responsible for assisting with planning, administering and evaluating twenty‑four‑hour operation of one or more nursing units. In doing so, duties are assigned based on patients' needs, staffing availability, etc. Attends patient rounds with physicians, answers questions regarding patients' condition, receives physicians' orders and notes patients' charts. Directs preparation and maintenance of patient clinical records.
