Our client is seeking a
Mine Operations Lead
to support mine operations at the Copper World Project. Reporting to the Mine Operations Senior Supervisor, this role is responsible for leading equipment operators and laborers, operating heavy equipment, and ensuring safe, efficient execution of earthwork, road construction, and site development activities.
The Mine Operations Lead plays a hands‑on leadership role, driving team performance, maintaining high safety standards, and delivering daily operational results in a fast‑paced mining environment.
Requirements
High school diploma or GED is required.
Three years’ experience in the mining industry.
Two years’ experience operating heavy machinery for roads, pads, or earthwork projects.
Experience operating, managing, and optimizing the use of small earthwork equipment.
Strong leadership, communication, and motivational skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Ability to work and multi-task in a fast‑paced environment.
Knowledge of project practices, policies, and systems.
Must possess a valid Driver’s License and reliable personal transportation to the site.
Ability to achieve Caterpillar certification for operating a backhoe, water truck, and tractor.
Ability to operate heavy equipment and prove licensure.
