
Inventory Control Coordinator

Key position functions include:
Coordinating sales order and production order picking requirements with warehouseman, ensuring orders are accurately picked in a timely manner.
Processing sales order outbound deliveries, providing deliveries to the shipping department for scheduling shipment.
Working with procurement to pick subcontracting and farmout deliveries as needed. Providing shipping with the necessary paperwork to coordinate deliveries.
Ensuring all engraving requirements (i.e. serial tags and calibration heads)
Completion of weekly & monthly inspections of engraving machine and other inventory equipment as needed.
Maintaining care and preservation of inventory items, working with QC on non-conforming products.
Responsible for preparation of annual physical count and assist with reconciliation where needed
Responsible for the cycle counting process and resolution of discrepancies where needed
Responsible for review and approval of warehouseman's incoming and outgoing transactions
Ensuring accuracy for all inventory movement
Responsible for inventory adjustments and communicating with the manager for approval
Train and assist warehouseman as needed.
Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures
Studies and standardizes procedures to improve efficiency of material handlers
Other duties may be required
Preferred candidate will possess a combination of the following:
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong attention to detail
Solid understanding of effective inventory management practices
Previous experience in supporting a manufacturing or industrial environment
Strong interpersonal skills, including effective written and oral communication abilities
Previous experience in the oil and gas industry is an asset
A strong commitment to the workplace, health and safety, solid work ethic and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
