
Production Supervisor

Responsibilities
Monitor processes to verify conformance to specifications and direct adjustments needed to avoid or correct issues
Obtain product samples and perform quality testing
Visually inspect product for defects
Adjust product formula to maintain product quality standards
Plan and schedule employees for tasks required
Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product
Suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of department or crew
Generate work orders as needed
Analyze and resolve work problems or assist workers in solving work problems
Initiate or suggest plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals
Maintain time and production records
Ensure all employees are adequately trained to perform tasks
Responsible for planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems
Qualifications
3–5 years industrial experience
1–2 years of supervisory experience
High school diploma or GED
Excellent interpersonal skills
Basic computer and writing skills
