Job Description
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will be responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures to assist with diagnosing and treating patients using radioactive materials. The role requires proficiency in operating nuclear medicine equipment and ensuring the safety and comfort of patients throughout the procedures.
Responsibilities
Administer radioactive pharmaceuticals to patients as instructed.
Conduct patient assessments and ensure proper identification and comfort.
Prepare and operate imaging equipment for nuclear imaging procedures.
Maintain equipment and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret and analyze imaging results.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Active certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
Experience in a clinical setting performing nuclear medicine procedures.
Strong understanding of radiation safety protocols.
Assignment Duration
This is a contract position lasting approximately 13 weeks.
