Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and clinically strong Charge Nurse (RN or LPN) to lead and support our care team one day per week. This role is responsible for overseeing daily clinical operations, ensuring high‑quality resident care, and serving as the point of contact for staff, residents, and families during the shift. This is an ideal opportunity for a nurse looking to maintain clinical involvement with a consistent, low‑hour schedule.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the clinical leader on duty, providing direction and support to CNAs, Medication Aides, and other team members

Coordinate and oversee resident care to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with regulations and policies

Administer medications and treatments accurately and timely

Assess residents’ conditions and respond to changes in status appropriately

Communicate effectively with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team members

Complete documentation in a timely and accurate manner

Assist with admissions, discharges, and care planning as needed

Ensure a positive, team‑focused environment that reflects strong leadership and accountability

Qualifications

Active RN or LPN license in the state of Nebraska

Previous experience in long‑term care or skilled nursing preferred

Prior leadership or charge nurse experience preferred

Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills

Ability to lead a team and manage priorities effectively
