Job Description
Saint Luke's Hospital of Kansas City located in Kansas City, MO is hiring for a Registered Nurse for their Medical Intermediate Unit. This unit provides care to medical short‑stay high acuity patients in a fast‑paced environment. As a nurse on this team, you can care for a variety of conditions and treatments including, but are not limited to, renal, confusion, non‑surgical, heart failure, observation, and more.
Shift Details
Full Time, Days: 6:45 pm to 7:15 am (Night)
Responsibilities
Accountable for utilizing the nursing process.
Perform patient care, delegate patient care tasks, and supervise other patient care staff.
Coordinate the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consult with other members of the health‑care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Demonstrate proficiency and abides by policies, rules, guidelines, and procedures.
Job Requirements
3–5 years applicable experience.
Basic Life Support – American Heart Association or Red Cross.
Registered Nurse (MO) – National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS).
Associate Degree in Nursing.
