Responsibilities
Provide perioperative nursing care for patients undergoing surgical procedures, from pre‑op through postoperative recovery
Prepare the OR, maintain sterile technique, assist with instrumentation, and ensure accurate instrument counts
Monitor patient status intraoperatively, assist anesthesia providers, and manage patient positioning as needed
Document intraoperative care, medications administer, and post‑anesthesia handoff details to the receiving team
Communicate effectively with the surgical team, support staff, and patients/families regarding expected outcomes and immediate post‑procedure care
Requirements
Active Registered Nurse license in Oklahoma
Minimum 2 years RN OR experience (required)
CVOR experience preferred
Certifications required as noted in job notes; active copies acceptable
Education: nursing degree from an accredited program
Ability to work in an OR setting and adhere to sterile technique and safety protocols
