Job Title: SAP Public Cloud ERP - Supply Chain Management Consultant
Location:
Greater Houston, TX (Hybrid - 3 days onsite)
Duration:
12+ Month Contract (Likely to extend)
Position Overview
SAP Public Cloud ERP - Supply Chain Management Consultant
to lead the design, configuration, and implementation of
SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud
solutions across procurement, inventory, logistics, and manufacturing operations.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a
large-scale SAP Public Cloud transformation
for a major Houston-based enterprise (likely Sysco or Halliburton).
The ideal candidate will have a strong functional background in SAP SCM modules, hands-on experience with
S/4HANA Cloud (Public Edition) , and familiarity with the
SAP Activate methodology .
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end implementation of
SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud SCM modules , including:
Procurement (MM), Inventory Management, MRP, and Logistics Execution.
Conduct
fit-to-standard workshops
to analyze business requirements, identify gaps, and propose compliant SAP solutions.
Work closely with cross-functional teams (Finance, Manufacturing, Order Management) to ensure smooth integration between modules.
Configure system settings, master data, and reporting relevant to supply chain operations.
Support
testing, data migration, end-user training, and go-live activities .
Document configurations, business process flows, and solution designs.
Guide clients through the
SAP Activate Methodology , including Explore, Realize, and Deploy phases.
Stay up to date with
SAP S/4HANA Cloud innovations , quarterly release changes, and best practices.
Required Qualifications
3+ years
of hands-on experience in SAP Supply Chain modules (MM, PP, SD, or similar).
Proven experience
implementing or supporting
SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud
projects.
Expertise in
procurement, inventory management, and production planning
processes.
Familiarity with
public cloud limitations, extensibility framework, and SAP standard processes .
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication for client-facing interactions.
Preferred Qualifications
SAP Certification
in S/4HANA Supply Chain or related discipline.
Experience working with
SAP Activate
and Agile methodologies.
Prior consulting or delivery experience in
manufacturing, logistics, or distribution
industries.
Exposure to integrations with
SAP BTP, Ariba, or external logistics systems
