We are seeking a skilled Software Test Engineer specializing in ECU-level testing to join our dynamic team. This role involves analyzing software requirements, designing test cases, configuring test environments, and more to ensure the highest quality of our software components.
Required Skills & Qualifications
3-5 years of proven experience in software testing, particularly L2 (ECU-level) testing
Demonstrated experience with test automation framework development and script implementation (e.g., Python, CAPL)
3 years of Software Verification experience
3 years of experience building test benches
Prior work experience at client or in client's industry
Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
Python
1 year experience in Agile Framework
2 years of experience in GitHub
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Analyze software requirements to inform test strategy and ensure comprehensive test coverage
Design, author, and review detailed L2 test cases in TestRail, covering various testing types
Configure and integrate a wide array of test tools
Develop and maintain robust automated test suites and scripts
Oversee and perform test execution for nightly engineering and release builds
Build test harness to support the BCM team
Identify, report, and analyze test failures to pinpoint defects
Generate detailed test execution reports
Investigate test failures to determine the root cause
