GDIT is seeking a proven professional who can make a true impact. Position Overview: This role serves as the theater‑level integrator for multimodal distribution across air, land, and maritime domains.
Responsibilities
Lead theater-wide transportation synchronization (air, maritime, land)
Coordinate strategic, operational, and tactical lift allocation
Manage commercial vessels, barge, and charter operations (contracted lift)
Integrate with joint partners (MSC, 8th TSC, SOCPAC, INDOPACOM J4)
Plan and execute intra-theater distribution in contested environments
Oversee movement control, routing, and scheduling across nodes
Synchronize RSO&I and theater distribution operations
Manage port operations, terminal coordination, and throughput optimization
Integrate host‑nation and commercial logistics networks
Advise leadership on mobility risk, capacity, and mitigation strategies
Core Competencies
Theater distribution expertise (INDOPACOM preferred)
Multimodal logistics integration (air/sea/land)
Commercial contracting & charter operations
Movement control and TPFDD execution
Joint logistics integration (JLENT, MSC, USTRANSCOM)
Contested logistics / denied environment operations
Port and terminal operations management
Operational planning (JOPP / B2C2WG integration)
Required Experience
15+ years military or equivalent experience in transportation/logistics
Prior service as Army 882A Mobility Warrant Officer or senior 88N/Z (E8/E9 equivalent strongly preferred)
Extensive experience in maritime and airlift coordination
Demonstrated experience with commercial shipping, barge, or vessel chartering
Experience supporting INDOPACOM or similar large-scale theater logistics operations
Experience coordinating with joint and multinational partners
Ability to brief customers and senior leadership
Preferred Experience (USG & Partners)
Joint Task Forces and Service Component Commands
Prior assignment with U.S. Transportation Command or Military Sealift Command
Military Sealift Command (vessel coordination)
U.S. Transportation Command (global lift synchronization)
Experience with 8th Theater Sustainment Command operations
U.S. Indo‑Paçific Command J4 / SOCPAC logistics staff
Host‑nation port authorities and commercial carriers
Background in commercial logistics providers (e.g., ocean freight, charter brokerage)
Experience with expeditionary port operations and LOTS/JLOTS
Education & Certifications
Bachelor’s degree (Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain, or related field preferred)
Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, Certified Supply Chain Professional) preferred
Clearance Requirements
Active DOW Secret clearance required
DOW TS/SCI eligibility preferred
